On Monday i had to go trhough a binder about an organization from the NYPD. The main points were;
"New Immigrant Outreach Unit"---Which is this new plan to engage and build confort to police officers and new immigrant communities.

"Righs and Responsibilities When Interacting with a Police Officer"---That was a brochure of what the public should know when is stop by an official.

"Civilian Obserber Ride-Along Program"---This talked about many programs for the ones who care about the community.
After that i had to look at the NYC patrol officers guide and try to find if tere were any policies that was realated to immigrants. The book was 1430 pages long and of course i didn't had to go through it entirely, but it was ver fustrating to find something on that heavy book. When I was done with that Ms. Artie came to visit my site and asked me questions about the environment. It was very nice having her there because she got to see what I do and where I do it.
I probably spent 1 hour with her and then it was almos 5:00 so my mentor gave me more assignments for the following week (she will be absent. I went home watched TV and went to sleep at 3:00am =)
